The Seahorse is part of the Hippocampus family, word that come from the ancient Greek and means Sea Monster!! The oldest fossil of seahorse were found in Italy, near Rimini and are about 3 million years old!!!
Last info...you can eat Seahorse...but as my lovely husband is telling me:" it didnt have any taste, it was just a bit crunchy" . He tried Seahorse in China few years ago. :) !!!
