Edible color paint, the best way to beat a rainy afternoon.

I tried to have Alex playing with edible yogurt paint when he was 10 months or so, but he showed no interest at all at the times.
When he was 13 months we went to a class of Art in the Park here in the Golden gate Park and again ZERo interest.
Today I tried again and YES!!! He was finally into it!
He had so much fun!
Colors, texture and taste. The two kids were immediately engaged.
Be prepared for some mess and lot of cleaning though :)

EDIBLE COLOR PAINT RECIPE

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of corn starch
  • 2 spoon of sugar
  • food coloring

Mix all the ingredients on the fire till they thicken up and let them cool down.

Some photo from our color session.
Planning to try again this week, experimenting a different recipe.
