2 nigths ago Michal and I went to San Francisco for dinner. It was a very special occasion (my lovely husband birthday!) so I booked for us in very special restaurant: Opaque.
At Opaque guests dine in the dark! A blind waiter guided us in a literally pitch-black dining room and there we were served dinner. It was a unique, sensual and relaxing experience. And food and wine were excellent!!
On the way out our waiter offered a red rose to Michal as a birthday gift, here I painted the Red Rose in the Dark.
(Maybe you can not notice from the picture but all around the rose there is sand, to add a texture effect, it feels really nice at the touch!)
