Here is the last assignment  for my digital painting class.  We were supposed to illustrate a scene from a fairy tale. 

 I choose to draw something from my favorite book, Alice in Wonderland.

Last quick project for school doing using a new ( to me!) digital painting program called Corel Painter.

Starting something using a new unknown program is always a very frustrating experience ....luckily Alex had good afternoon naps thanks to our super jet lag!!:) Unfortunately he is almost over it and we are almost back to our not-sleeping-much kind of life.

This was the first version of the owl... I still like it , so I am posting it!

 

Off to bed very soon...hopefully this lucky owls will help us sleep better!!! :)

Self portrait.

Painting a portrait was the second project of my digital painting class. 

It took me few naps time and few evenings. 

Luckily enough our sea-life is tiring enough my little guy and he has been napping well in the morning :)

Two days left for us in Italy ,,,, back to SF soon.

Happy first birthday Felix!

Today our little friend Felix is turning one.
Wishing him and his mom a very special day!
We would love to be home with you guys to celebrate the little guy properly :) we will do it soon!
