Edible color paint, the best way to beat a rainy afternoon.

I tried to have Alex playing with edible yogurt paint when he was 10 months or so, but he showed no interest at all at the times.
When he was 13 months we went to a class of Art in the Park here in the Golden gate Park and again ZERo interest.
Today I tried again and YES!!! He was finally into it!
He had so much fun!
Colors, texture and taste. The two kids were immediately engaged.
Be prepared for some mess and lot of cleaning though :)

EDIBLE COLOR PAINT RECIPE

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of corn starch
  • 2 spoon of sugar
  • food coloring

Mix all the ingredients on the fire till they thicken up and let them cool down.

Some photo from our color session.
Planning to try again this week, experimenting a different recipe.

Dynamic poses: Alex :)

This week assignment for my online drawing class was to draw six dynamic poses for a character of my choice.

I drew the most active little guy around, adding  him a bit of hair though :)

Right now at almost 15 months he is a super runner, he loves chasing bubbles, going down the slide, jumping on the bed, he climbs up every where and he LOVES playing with Mona ( Mona would say "annoying her mostly"!!)

We love our active Bibi SUPER DUPER much!
