A broken heart.

Since Valentine's day is approaching I decided to do another painting love related.
This last painting is about a broken heart, inspired by a Charlotte Bronte quote:

“I have not broken your heart - you have broken it; and in breaking it, you have broken mine.”

A glimpse of Cesenatico!

This morning I did this quick study from a picture I took last Sunday in Cesenatico.
I took LOADS of picture to tell the truth, planning to do some paintings.
Cesenatico is a port town on the Adriatic coast of Italy, not too far from Forli,
A small curiosity, Cesenatico's port canal was surveyed and drawn by Leonardo da Vinci(!) at the request of Cesare Borgia , as part of his plans to fortify the nearby town of Cesena.

I had an amazing time with family & friends!! It was so nice to spend time with the people I love...I am missing them already!
I was lucky enough to spend some real quality time with my gorgeous nephew :) we spent hours and hours drawing! He is really good and he seemed to enjoy it as much as I did!

This is me :) and my castle!

I LOSE MY HEART

This girl has lost her heart…..can someone help her getting it back  ;) ?

This last painting was a tough one . I didn't  plan it well enough at the beginning, and I was keeping making changes all the times. A real challenge :)
While painting I also realized that I haven't used a lot of red color in some time! I was totally missing it, it so energetic.

It will be soon available in my Esty shop!

Last big painting before my  Italy-Uk trip, hope to squeeze in a small goodbye still life on Sunday!

I would rather keep painting and pay someone to pack for me ;) I don't know why I DIS-like packing so much!

Have a good evening everyone!
